Meet Laila

Every once in a rare while, sparks fly when a child gets in front of your camera! You just know the shoot is going to come out sick! That is just what happen when we linked up with Laila in New York City.  We scheduled to shoot Laila in Soho, I just love it there (FUN FACT : right out of high school I went to hairdressing school there at the Aveda Institute on Spring & Varick, hahaha but trust me you don't want me doing your hair).  Anywho, we came across the Marc Jacobs store there, and as soon as I saw those bright pink walls I knew that was the perfect Me & Kay place to shoot.  

For our first look Laila is rocking this Blue Cheetah Print Bomber Jacket that we are obsessed with from Hannah Banana Clothing, we paired it with our chic zipper Silver Faux Leather Dress from Mia New York Clothing.  If that combo doesn't scream style, then I don't know what does!  We accesorized her with some retro shades from Forever 21, fishnet socks with a sports stripe also from Forever 21, and Leopard Kicks from Steve Madden.  We may have brought the look but Laila rocked it like a Super Star.  We love mixing and matching our brands to give our content a creative fresh perspective.  Very often to we find ourselves pairing Mia New York Clothing with Hannah Banana Clothing.  They are 2 of our fav lines!

Next up we turned the volume up and transformed Laila into a total downtown girl in our Sequin Dress from Mia New York Clothing.  She totally shined up the New York City streets with this colorful, vibrant, look.  We paired this dress with gold lame socks and once again the leopard kicks from Steve Madden.  Clips are the current hair trend so we popped in these mustard retro clips that were perfection with this look.  

Leopard is one trend we just can't get enough of!  This Cheetah Hoodie Dress from Hannah Banana Clothing is so bomb. The earth tones of these images go together like perfection.  Laila is rocking this Hannah Banana street on the Nyc streets.  Pair it with some converse, squad socks, and hair clips and we have a winning look!
