I am always searching for new brands to bring to my customers.  I was online a few months ago and I saw an image with such bright bold colors I couldn't ignore it.  I am so excited to share this brand with you, Coco Ginger.  

Saffron Pugh-Blaby is the creator of Coco Ginger, it was inspired by the colors and vibrant life of Bali.  It is named after her two daughters Coco & Ginger.  It is so unique from the bold colors, to the beautiful hand-printing, chalk screen-printing, hand-stitching and hand-embroidering.  

As stated on Coco Ginger website, www.cocoginger.com, "Working together with small collectives of Balinese women, each piece in a Coco and Ginger range is unique. Each piece may have a little bauble here, or a variation in color there" 

There collaborations with the local artists keep there brand ethically made, and continue to keep it a modern take on Folk Art.  "Once ready, the pieces are hand-washed, sun-dried and ironed; swing tags are attached and they are inserted into biodegradable, Bali-made eco bags made from cassava starch. It’s a long process each season, but one marked each step of the way by integrity and respect for workers and the environment." -states www.cocoginger.com
